Arlo, a multifaceted artist based in Austin, Texas, specializes in creating high-quality and accessibly priced art. After obtaining her bachelor’s degree in Design for Theatre and Live Performance from Nottingham Trent University in the UK, she joined the Chroma Collective as a muralist and gallery curator at UpFront Gallery. Arlo’s diverse experience spans digital art, drawing, painting, jewelry making, and 3D art.
Her work focuses on producing pieces that convey the experiences she undergoes during their creation, leaving interpretation up to the viewer. Striving to move away from symbolism, she creates art that is meditative and easy to observe, featuring subjects like mandalas, abstract lines and patterns, self-portraits, and caricatures. Described as “chaotic” and “ugly,” her work nonetheless possesses a unique balance, rhythm, and emphasis. Drawing inspiration from everyday observations, Arlo uses art as a means of escape, personal processing, and meditation. She is committed to making art accessible to all while maintaining its quality and value. Discover more of her work on her instagram and connect with her through email or on social media.
