Gabrielle's interest in art started early on and lead her into the world of theater. However, her creative curiosity would not be denied as intrest spilled into the realm of visual art while attending college at Texas State.
Her expierences led her to a focus as a 2d/3rd-based artist, focusing on ceramics and drawing. Her work plays with the idea of what is acceptable and what makes us uncomfortable. By finding humor in the macabre, she seeks to create an environment for everyone as "the viewer" to find comfort in what scares us. She questions the viewer's impression of what is horror and what is wholesome. She offers the question "if we feel comfortable, will we remember?"
She began as an actor and transitioned to physical media during her time at Texas State University. By exploring Ceramics and Art History, her view shifted to the human need to create with the hands. You can view her work here.
