UMLAUF Family Day: UMLAUFville Toon Time!

UMLAUF Sculpture Garden + Museum hosted a free, family-friendly celebration exploring the art of cartooning, comics, and character design. The event invited children and families to discover their creativity through interactive drawing activities, cartoon-making crafts, caricature portraits by artist Ryan Otto, and sculpture searches throughout the garden. Black Collar Party participated through member and artist Alex Porter, who led a Dynamic Character Design Workshop, introducing young artists to the creative process of developing original cartoon characters. The event celebrated imagination, artistic exploration, and accessible arts education while bringing Austin families together through hands-on creative experiences.
